John Rodgers (left), Theron Simons (right) are just two regular guys. We are both at the upper end of "40" and have been friends now for about 10 years. We are in unrelated occupations, and come from different parts of the country. Fate has thrown us together as we share a common understanding of what we call " truth", and a passion for sharing this message.
- We are both devoted fathers, and husbands with beautiful wives and teenage children. We both share a strong sense of responsibility for our families, our community, our lives and actions as well as a commitment to making a positive contribution to humanity. Our alliance was first formed through common activities at a local church. We are both very active, contributing members of a UCC Christian Congregation in CT.Neither of us are strongly committed to religion as an institution, however, we have found that structured religious organizations could afford a " Common Ground" for encountering "like-minded, kindred spirits". We co-founded " Common Ground" as an adult spiritual growth workshop at our church. John regularly composes and publishes "Positively Speaking" for our church newsletter. Theron is the driving force behind all things related to " taking action". Together we share a tremendous desire for sharing the good news of "spiritual truth". Our philosophies are similar, and our interest in authors and theologies are in complete synchronicity.
At one time or another, we each have taken opportunities to preach, and submit, and deliver components of the Sunday Worship Service at our church. This opened the door to the realeyesation of our love for enlightening the minds of those that thirst for spiritual growth.
This website is our gift to you. We will endeavor to make it fruitful. If nothing else, it shall serve as an outlet for our "Spiritual Gifts".
