All that exists is God! God is Omnipotent, unlimited, all encompassing power energy and presence, conscious and aware, with creative potential, and deliberate intent. In order for God to fully realize the grandeur of It’s own ability, God needed to create multiple outlets for It’s creative product that would experience unlimited variety of choice through which to produce a diverse reality. These creative conduits would posses all the ability of the source from which they were an integral part, but not have full awareness of the connection, in order that choices would remain varied and creation would continue exponentially. This would be the God experience continually expanding, as far as the mind of God could imagine.
God existing in a state of absolute, would have only total joy, as God is all that is. To add variety to this reality, God needed to introduce a relative plane of opposites. There can be no conscious experience of thought, feeling, and space-time progression in the absence of relative conditions. There is no such thing as up, in the absence of down. Without in, we cannot know out. Light has no meaning without dark. Good/bad, love/hate, faith/ fear, comfort/pain, joy/grief, happy/sad, fun/boring, etc, ad infinitum. These conditions being born is what the Bible refers to as Adam and Eve eating from the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good, and evil. This introduction was the birth of experience. God replicated Itself an unlimited number of times, shielding each new representation of It’s own Spirit from complete awareness of the totality of It’s existence, but allowing the illusion of separation to create desire. The root desire of all creative beings of Spirit is LOVE. Love is the desire to be connected to all life at the level of spirit. What we know as reality has been Gods journey of self- discovery. God has created an unlimited number of representations of Itself, all searching for the connection that the self- imposed illusion had severed. Creation occurs through individual thought and choice. Each choice we make, every thought we entertain, upon becoming a belief, creates a new reality. Life continues to expand, through choice.
God experiences physical, emotional life through us. We are physical representations of the ONE and only Life- Spirit, creating a variety of conditions through a diverse combination of choices all occurring in the never- ending moment of NOW! Life is God, experiencing God, as us. God is wearing people suits, and thinking, and choosing from a place of ignorance of It’s own potential. God is having a schizophrenic moment, filled with the illusion of insecurity, and inferiority, infinitely!
Science has long been aware that all physical matter, broken down and viewed under a microscope, eventually ends up being nothing but energy. All things at the most microscopic level, are the same thing. Energy. This energy is GOD. Thought has the ability to manipulate energy. When energy vibrates, it creates matter/ physical form. Our thoughts have created our physical world, as such, our individual and collective experiences. “As a man thinketh, so shall he be”!. Better yet; “What you sow, so shall you reap”! God said: “ Let there be light” and so it was. We say: I want a family; and I create one! ( this is where the “ made in the image and likeness” thing comes in). God created man with thought, and commissioned us to create worlds, with our individual and collective thought.
This explains what Jesus meant when he said; “What ever you do to the least of my brothers, you do to me”. We are all one life, we share the same spirit. There is only one of us here, and we are GOD. This also explains why it is better to turn the other cheek, whatever man is doing to man, is actually God doing to Itself.
When Peter attempted to walk on the water out to Jesus, he was successful, until he introduced doubt. At that point, the Teacher of The Word, exclaimed: Oh ye of little faith. The story of moving the mountain also demonstrates that we can create anything at all as long as we have the faith of our intent. We are God, creating reality through our beliefs. Jesus tried tirelessly to drill into our heads the power of faith. Jesus performed miracle after miracle, claiming with a little bit of faith, we could do these things also. Jesus taught us that the source from which we came was that of a Father-like figure, meaning that through growth of spirit, we each would aspire to emulate our source, as that is what children aspire to.
We have created everything we know as reality through our choices, and beliefs. All human need has been created out of our illusion that we are separate from infinite spirit. The truth is we need nothing. There is nowhere to go, nothing to prove to anyone, no conditions to be met. All we need do is be. God is in heaven, all is right with the world.
Judgment, forgiveness, acceptance, and gratitude, are all major components of choice. I would like to offer an example:
Imagine you are the Director of a hospital. In the emergency room there are two infants. One that was in a car accident, and has severe brain damage, the other with a birth defect, needing a heart transplant. The doctors work tirelessly through the night, and report that both children will die. The decision is made to harvest the heart of the accident victim, taking it off life support, end ending it’s life. Then using the heart to save the child with the birth defect. From your vantage point is this a tragedy, or miracle? Your hospital could not save an innocent little life, tragedy right? Your hospital saved the child with the birth defect by the unexpected arrival of the accident victim. Miracle right? You see, all things are judged differently according to perspective. There was an entire community praying and hoping for the recovery of the accident victim. All those people experienced a tragedy. The family, friends, and community that knew the child with the birth defect experienced a miracle. The Director of the hospital had, “ business as usual” .
God is in the same position as the director of the hospital. All things occur, to give meaning, and contrast to life. There are no tragedies until we decide that there are. Jesus rose from the dead to show us that life is eternal. Jesus told us:
We look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.” —2 Corinthians 4:18 Jesus taught us that our kingdom was not in this world. We would view death as tragic, only if we do not believe in eternal life.
When we decide the behavior from others could effect us negatively, and judge it as “bad”, we have created a condition that prevents us from feeling joy. If we just accept all behaviors, all events, all situations, as components of the experience we are creating, for the purpose of giving contrast, to fuel desire which is the foundation of creation, than we will not ourselves be victimized by our own decision of the existence of good, and bad. “ Judge not, lest you be judged”.-Matthew 7:1. All things are that are. There is no good or bad until we decide there is, then we have made that decision in order to create a specific feeling. We have reaped what we have sown! The pain we realize is from our own choice. When tragedy occurs, we can seek to find the lesson within. We can embrace the opportunity for compassion, and healing. We can praise the feeling of community, and unity that is born of it, instead of lamenting the loss, and being outraged by the devastation. God is above it, as the hospital director was, seeing it all as “another day in paradise”.
In order for God to experience “ ALL THAT HE CAN BE”, God needed to introduce the conditions we create with, and see to it that all “ Individuities of Itself” would choose differently, we were each created unique. No two people are the same. 1st Corinthians 12, Paul writes about “ Spiritual Gifts”, and “ One Body-Many Parts”. This illustrates how every individual component of God, has a different role to play in Gods’ experience of Gods’ self. We all find joy through different means. When we seek to use these opportunities as a contribution to the common good, we are fulfilling our role in the body of God, just as the feet of a physical body are being purposeful when they are walking, running, or standing. Everyone, and everything are smaller parts of the larger Body, which is God! Each of us having varied opinions of what is joyful, are all fueled by separate desires, These desires cause us to use our imagination, and our belief in the fulfillment of our desire creating action that produces manifestation. This is the mechanism of creation. Should I go to school or get a job? Should I get married and have a family, or stay single? Will I be friendly or nasty? Is music, or art my thing, or do I like to tinker with old cars? Will I be open minded, or stubborn? All of these things are the decisions that shape our world. Actually, every thought, every action, every intent, is the creative process. The limit to our achievements, and the results of our efforts, are indicative of the level of our faith. “ I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me!” Phil 4:13. Jesus knew there was no limit to our creative ability, as Jesus knew that he was God, taking form to create. Jesus told us about the “ Mustard Seed” The “mountain moving”, and Jesus changed water to wine, walked on water, healed sick, raised dead, and fed multitudes, all as example of what is possible! The only limits we have as far as creation goes are the limits we believe we have. Being ignorant of our divinity, has caused us to have no faith in our ability to be “Gods”.
Jesus tried to tell us with “ The Lords Prayer”…..” Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven” That says we are as God right here right now, producing the experience of Gods’ intent.
All people are Divine spirit manifesting experience in physical form. We are all the same One, and only Spirit, operating independently to produce a collective reality. Our shortcomings are a result of our illusion of separateness. Our missteps are attempts to fulfill our desire for re-connection through self directed creation. Any desire that betters the common good, (The Entirety of God) results in joyful feeling. Any fulfillment of desire that only benefits the individual, and takes away from the whole, produces pain, and suffering. We are all trying to re-connect to our source. Love is what we call that drive. Acting from the position of unconditional love for all, creates heaven-on-earth results. Satisfying personal needs to the extent of isolation, separates God from Itself even further, creating feelings of pain, and sorrow.
Disease, violence, war, hatred, anger, bigotry, self-centeredness, hunger, pain, all result from our choices, and beliefs. The further we get from seeking truth, the deeper the suffering becomes, but conversely, the higher the level of spirit man uncovers, as all things are opposite. Great devastation, exists only in contrast to great love, and insight. The worse mankind-kind treats itself, the greater the opportunity for compassion, and forgiveness. Everything is in balance.
Our lives are a journey of self-discovery. We are God seeking to uncover ourselves from the mask we intentionally donned to begin the quest. All of humanity is driven by a search for meaning. We are all looking for something. Jesus told us to; “Seek first the Kingdom of God”, as that is what we are unconsciously looking for anyway. Some people fill this desire with material possessions, others with power, and influence, still more with sex, and relationship, all yielding no satisfaction. The only way to fill the search for connection is through contribution to the common good, and the realization of connectedness, community, family, or “Oneness”. Jesus emphasized this fellowship building by continually bringing people together for a meal. This symbolic communal partaking of that which we need to survive was the key. Communion, is the furtherance of that concept, meant to remind us that we can only satisfy our spiritual hunger when we all come to the same table together.
Christ’s’ message, and science come together for me, to tell us that all things are one thing, and we are creating reality with our thoughts, beliefs, and understanding. That God is the “ One Thing” in many forms, witnessing, and observing. God is the observer, and the observed. All things are as they should be, no good, no bad, just being! God is in heaven, all is right with the world”
The path to peace, joy, grace, and love, is through seeking the understanding of who we are. Creating the product of our desire, in collaboration with contributing to the “ Common Good” brings us joy. Being Joyful increases our faith in our divinity. The realization of our divine self allows us to transcend the limits of humanity, and manifest as heavenly beings. Life is eternal, and our individuated spirit is in a continuous state of change. This physical reality is a temporary incarnation of our spirit for the purpose of experience. All experience leads back to God. All souls return to unity with the One. We need not meet any condition, or pass any test, there is nowhere to go, but God, as God is all there is.
