A picture is worth 1000 words, (or prayers)
Why do some people get exactly what they want, and others don’t? How come some prayers are answered and others aren’t? How can I have the things, circumstances, conditions and experiences in life that I desire? Perplexing questions you say? I agree! All religious bodies, and faith based programs tell us to “pray”. The Christian Bible quotes Jesus as saying, “ask and you will receive” etc. So how is it that true believers, people of faith, can pray, and not see their desired result? I am going to take a “stab” at this, bear with me please!
“In the beginning,,,GOD!” God said” Let there be light, and there was! Then God said, I will make man in my image and likeness. Now if God is not of human form, neither male or female, but is infinite, and omnipotent, and we appear to be physical, finite and limited, how are we in the image and likeness of this Creator? We are in the image and likeness because were not created as physical, finite, beings. The Creator fashioned us as individuated representations of Divine Thought, in order to create out of desire. The conditions we have created for ourselves, were out of ignorance and blindness to the nature of our Divine Connection. Our bodies have evolved from primordial slop as our consciousness has evolved. What we are today is a mechanism we have designed to process our illusory needs that has evolved and changed as we have grown closer to the truth. We create our circumstances, individually, and collectively with our MINDS. Our minds are an extension of the One Mind. What we hold to be true and picture in our mind, plays out on the palette of our experiential awareness in space and time. The One Mind, the Individual Mind, and the Great Collective Mind, are inextricably linked together and are the vibrational engine of energy. All that matter and physical reality is at its most microscopic level, is vibrating energy. Thought determines the vibration of localized energy coming from specific points. We create reality in the same manner as God. Each thought/belief, is the same as saying, “let there be light”. What ever our minds think, (as vibration) must appear!
So what about the above questions you ask? When God thought that original creative thought, there was no language, no words. The picture of the end result was the creative catalyst that unleashed all the power of The Universe. When we pray, affirm, ask, seek, desire, we are using words. Mostly we are focusing on a situation that we are not pleased with; sickness, lack, unhappiness, etc, and hoping to reverse it. Well, our minds are tuned into the cause of our desire and we are sending out low vibration, from negative thoughts. We cannot create positive results with negative thoughts. “That which is like unto itself is drawn”. (The Law of Attraction). Mark 11:24 (What so ever you desire, when you pray, believe you have already received, and you shall) Phil 4:8 (What ever is true, noble, pure, fill your mind with these things) Proverbs 23:7 ( As a man thinks in his heart, so shall he be).
The key here is to picture the end result of our desire as being a reality, and it must be so. Example: we will not heal a negative condition by praying or affirming, or thinking; get me out of this bad place, or help me resolve this unhappy situation, or please guide me to where I can fix this broken thing. You see how these thoughts put a picture in our minds of negative conditions, causing us to feel negative, sending out low energy negative vibrations that will not create positive results.
Positively Speaking we must picture in our minds the result of our desire already being real, and feel the joy! This is where faith is so important. The wrong words will let us down! The feeling of joy, attached to the condition we are picturing, will draw to us our desired result. Picture it! Feel it! Live it! A picture is worth 1000 words!

Actions speak louder than words
We all want success. We all desire peace & happiness. It is a basic human need to seek comfort and security. So if all the positive speaking lessons tout “thoughts and beliefs create our reality”, why are we still struggling? First and foremost is because we have cast ourselves in a perpetual state of wanting. We think over and over about what we want. These signals we send out come right back and respond with; ”You keep thinking about wanting, so you will remain forever in the state of want”. Simple! Ask & you shall receive!
Jesus explained to us that we should “Do unto others as we would have done to ourselves” Likewise we’ve been taught; Seek first the Kingdom, and all these things will be added unto you”. So it makes sense to realize that “The Kingdom” is the totality of “Divine Spirit”. So we must come to understand the entire relationship of all things, and our purpose as integral parts of the Whole. Then by: “Doing unto others” we adapt a lifestyle of service, we will then Real-ize (make real) the focus of our desires. It is a process. It is a triune process!
There are three spiritual aspects of creation. Thought-word-action! Action being the key! If we make the focus of our lives the quest to come into relationship with God, and determine what our contribution to the sustenance of “The Body” is, then use our unique gift to selflessly improve the quality of life for all, we will see the product of our desires manifest in our lives. We can’t just wish, or pray, or affirm. We have to act! ACT NOW OFFER EXPIRING SOON!
Our actions, or lack thereof, have created our present state of “wanting”. Our action upon our desires will yield one reality, and our lack of them will yield another. But thoughts of sort will create-“some-thing”

We all have needs and strong desire. Our natures such this is our drive
This quest of ours will take us higher. Or maybe just keep us alive
It seems the thirst can not be quenched. Our needs once met produce two more
We strain and toil till sweat has drenched. Though rich and full we still feel poor
The ceaseless call to gather more, Constructs the chains that seem to bind
Our prison cell immortal chore. Offers no relief of mind
At times we dream of freedoms feel. To want no more and be content
Some how though it does not seem real. To end the task that Source had sent
The inner push to grow and change. Has caused us to create this space
Desire, has led us to arrange. All particle that’s in this place
It seems to keen observant eye. This dance may have been by design
Our world and all that pass us by. Could not have been prepared so fine
As we observe both then and now. By chance to gaze at what is to be
The truth of being is just how. This is the world we’re meant to see
The Point from all desires birth. The source of want and its supply
Has laid this plan and gird its worth. Ensured creation does not die
The Grand I AM has set this motion As intent to know all that is
Experiencing both land and ocean Enjoying mine and yours as His
Without desire we have no creation. Wanting has been good for all
Each life, and land and spacious nation Are here as answers to our call
Our wanting may at times confuse. Driving peace just out of reach
Realizing we’ve been made to use. As tools for God, with lessons teach
Desire’s such choice yields creation. There would be no here without this song
I AM expands without cessation . Confirming want cannot be wrong
