Common Ground Feb 4

We had a lively discussion this first week back after a snow break. New people keep joining us. Welcome to Cathy & AnnMarie! In order to catch up we needed to review 4 chapters. However, there was sooo many comments, questions, and observations about chapter 5, that we never got past there. The connection between science and religion proved to be an interesting topic. Actually, the discussion mainly focused upon taking the Bible literally, or figuratively. It seems that most religious structures present the Bible as literal "Truth", although without in depth explanation of the components, it leaves much to the imagination, or not making sense at all, even though we take it on "blind faith". Science can explain the same scenerios, with step-by-step physical interpretation of what is happeneing. In spite of a few prominent abscences, there was much enlightening information exchanged. WE have only 2 Wednesdays left before Lent, and the end of this series. We will want to try to finish the book by Wednesday the 11th, as on the 18th we will be viewing a video by Louise Hay "You can heal your life". Many people are appreciating the meditations.
